Two more programs were introduced in 2002: Creative Recovery Communities Therapeutic Services (CRCTS) and the Association of Recovery Schools (ARS).
The purpose of CRCTS is to empower a person's recovery through permanent change. It is designed for young persons aged 13 through 21 and their families whose lives are negatively affected by chemical dependency. Services include individual and group counseling, clinical assessment, and issue-oriented referrals. For assistance, call 615-248-8206.
The Association of Recovery Schools is a national consortium of secondary and post-secondary recovery schools created for the exchange of successes and challenges among this unique category of "sober" schools. Currently, membership includes 3 colleges and 11 high schools. For more information, please visit www.recoveryschools.org
